BACKGROUND

Mom:"How many cases a day are there now? " “I've had insomnia all week.”

My friend :" How about Melbourne? Wish me to send you a mask? And Good news!  I'm pregnant.“

My interest in the “relationship” from my personal experience. My family and I have not seen each other in over a year as COVID-19 has blocked my plans to return home. At the height of the epidemic, my mother told me that she's been losing sleep these days because she's worried about me. On the other side of the Pacific, we have the same mentality.  My mother's excessive concern and worry about me sometimes caused some psychological stress. But she is still my mother. Our relationship will never change. My relationship with my Chinese friends seems to be a little more relaxing. Our chats at COVID-19 time were not limited to my health and safety, but were more about sharing interesting things that had happened recently to ease the depression of "keeping social distance". These things make me think that human relationships are amazing. Family relationships are closer but sometimes not as relaxing as those between friends. Maybe we should rethink things like “Relationship between people”, “The relationship between people and society”, “life”, “spirit”.

Mom:

How many cases a day are there now?

I:

There are new cases every day, but not many today.

There were 371 cases today.

But it's not less.

She showed her new born daughter.

she is so cute!

Throughout the epidemic, we were expecting her to be born. During the Melbourne lockdown, just the thought of a friend's baby filled me with hope!
